| It's been months and a lot has happened. We are settling in to our new condo. We just moved in last weekend. It's brand new and has a great balcony that we will use a lot. We are getting ready to watch the Super Bowl. Since Sarah is from Chicago we have to root for the Bears! I have a business trip that I have to leave for in the morning. I've had to travel a lot with my new job. Sarah's cooking some new cookies so I have to go and try them. Go Bears! | | |
| It's been a really, really long time so I better write something.
Florida is still warm... we are starting to see a lot of old people who are the "snowbirds." They are the people that come down to Florida from their own state once it starts to get cold outside. It makes the roads a lot more dangerous.
There has been lots to do in the area and Sarah and I are really enjoying it.
The one thing that has been a huge letdown is the local news in the area. It is absolutely horrible and not targeted at my age group for sure. | | |
| It's been over a month so I thought it was time to write something.
Florida is still warm. I hear stories of fall like weather elsewhere and I start to grow jealous... then I go to the beach and all is well.
We really like the area. Lots and lots to do unlike NW Arkansas. We've been able to venture into to Tampa a few times for Devil Rays games. I am hoping to make a Bucks game sometime this season as well. We live about 5 minutes away from Lido beach which rocks.
The job is going well. Keep really busy and being really productive.

| Alright... it's official. We are moving!
The trip to Florida a few weeks back wasn't just for some R&R. I had an interview and they flew us down. So it was a free trip that we couldn't pass down
We are moving to the beautiful Sarasota and couldn't be more excited about it! I am going to be overseeing the sales for a network of Christian stations across the whole state. There will be a lot of travel involved, but this is a huge career move for us and we are pumped.
My last day at KLRC will be the 30th and we start the move on the 31st.
So that's our big news... now we just have to sell our house. | | |
| Big news is on the horizon... don't mean to be a tease, but can't let the cat out of the bag just yet. I'll be able to here in a few days.
In other news, baseball season is in its final months. I'm sad to say that my Braves won't be making the playoffs this year. I am also unsure to whether I will be victorious in my fantasy league. I'm currently in second, but not happy about it. I believe I have the best team, but the standings don't reflect that.
I can't believe that it's already back to school time. Where in the world did summer go? | | |
